WIthout a doubt get the TT. It does and will scratch easier but it is a watch, get what looks good to you and wear and enjoy. Good Luck with your decision

When I bought my first Rolex, it was a TT sub. I had (still have) a SS Breitling Super Ocean Steelfish and thought, nah, I don't want a SS Rolex cause I have the SS Breitling. So, the TT sub came home with me. Here we are one year later and I started looking at the GMT and liked it allot. I fantasized about the solid 18 KT but hey, I don't have that kind of cash. I decided on the SS version. I love the PCL's, makes the watch a classy sport watch and hey, the TT has the PCL also.
I hate to take this watch off even at night, even to wear my sub. You'll have to get what you love but I am happy with my choice. I think these days, either can be worn with any outfit from jeans to tux. It so happens I am going to a wedding and have decided to wear my GMT. |

I tell you what.
There is one Rolex I will eventually own in both and that is the GMT IIc. I love those watches!

i guess, it would depend on what you have already, your lifestyle, and what you really want...
if i own SS rolexes already, then a TT would most likely be my next one... however, they will scratch more (easily) than SS ones. so if you plan to use this daily, my vote would go to the SS. lastly, after hearing / reading our comments, in the end, no matter what we say, it's what you want that counts. goodluck! |

If you already have a SS rolex (esp a sub) it would almost be a crime to not go TT for the GMT!

TT also
I would vote TT as well; though the 18k would be even better if one could swing the cost.
