Wow - and not to highjack the tread, but that is quicker than I'd have thought - I usually attend the 24 hour race and never really noticed the top speeds in GT. What are your average lap times there? What are the GT cars hitting for top speed at Daytona for the 24 Hr race?

The fastest I could do based on the in car data and GPS was about 160 down the back straight at WGI on an e36 M3 LTW with an S54 motor bumped to 3.4 liters. I have since sold the racecars but certainly miss it still. Raced with BMW Club Racing, SCCA and HSR. Had a track record at WGI with SCCA for a while.

I also love chatting with other racers!

my GT3 car is gear limited to about 172, my GT1 car (800hp) 190's

My lap times at Daytona are just under 2:00, pro's with new cars much faster, remember my car ran the Rolex 24 hour ten years ago, its an '05, lots changed since then

Guys I would love to maintain the dream.... but here goes... I don't own all of these cars, I drive them and love every minute of it. But in reality, most of the pics here on this thread, are of people jumping in cars in showrooms and flashing a shot off.

But we all know that.

The Ferrari F458 was fantastic, the Lambo brutal, the 12C, out of this world, Porky GTS.. very nice, RR, not really for me, FF, again if I could afford it, not for me, so what do I own?

I own a couple of BMWs, a really nice ageing rag top and a new Porsche... oh and a number of beautiful watches. But I love driving nice cars. So for the photos of the McLaren... give me a second.

I always wanted a pick-up truck, but lived many years in countries with small streets and tight parking. Now we live in the US. Ford F-150 Super Crew and the BLNR.

Both do everything I do and go everywhere I go. Very pleased with them.
