I would like to be clairvoyant and only hold 45 degree angle stocks as well but I have a thing about a balanced portfolio and not exceed 10K shares in any position. Plus, not every 45 degree angle stocks are easy to trade.

Housing had a good run from spring to fall 2020. Low PE and relatively stable in price movement relative to other stocks allowing me to sleep at night. Dividends from these guys are nice which you don’t get from non profitable companies. They all have their place in my book.

I wouldn’t worry too much. Last day of the year is typically a down day. Tech has had such a great run, it could easily take a breather for a bit. I expect it to go lower in January. Folks may take their 2020 gains early in 2021.

Joking aside, wasn’t there a big leg up in stocks last time the stimulus checks went out? Seemed a lot were investing it into stocks, especially the hype ones such as TSLA etc.

Maybe less so this time since only half of last time.

I have TTCF but not a big position. Was trading as high as $26 and then dropped to $16ish. Its now back with a 2 in front of it. Typical food business net 10% margin. Costco carries them.

it's even worse for tesla if you do 2 year charts. bitcoin was 13k august 2019 while tesla was like $40

At the beginning of each year, I look at key themes and verticals that are likely to prevail or reshape the sectors I know or like. This applies to my angel investment thesis, but this could be relevant here too. Would love to hear your thoughts and comments.
- The future of e-Commerce: SHOP, ETSY - Suspect APIs will get bigger over the next few years, but don't know any good play apart from SHOP for now
- Payment solutions & gateways (eg. fast, Stripe, Ant) => Stripe IPO may happen in 2021...
- The future of mobility (e.g. EV, electric scooters, etc) => TSLA (??), NIO, MP (rare earths)
- The green / blue economy: ideas welcome
- Shift towards marketplaces (e.g. Letgo, TheRealReal, Carousell, etc) => SCHA:NO, MELI

Wife tried TDOC/LVGO March/April 2020 for a Dr appt. It was so terrible that we went FaceTime instead.

My wife uses it through Epic with some of her patients. Epic is great after the steep learning curve. Epic integrates well with TeleDoc for patient video visits called “telehealth” by many. The video visits are only good if instructions are CLEARLY documented and given to both patient and primary care providers.

Insurances don’t pay hospitals as much for these virtual visits and the primary care provider spends the same amount of time but no physical exam is done. It def serves a purpose for healthcare as long as it's not abused. I also think (obvious) it better serves primary care docs more than specialists.

Personally, I think it is good for quick follow-up or ad-hoc visits but should not continue to be used the same way as today AFTER COVID-19. I don't want to buy the stock at current prices...maybe 1/2 of what it is today.

I posted earlier about a family member and the challenges of trying to do anything over the internet/phone. This is a great idea that will take a very long time to become mainstream. Between legal and technological challenges, I do not think this is a good investment here.

It's funny you brought this up. I have been watching FUBO and bought a small position at 26.50/sh. today (although it seems like the downward trend isn't over).

Like I said, if you believe in it, I'd start trickling money in over the next few days/weeks. I'm not convinced the bleeding is over yet, but if you can stomach the volatility of the stock, this might be a buying opportunity.
