Didn’t take pics but also had green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, corn, elegant farmer apple and peach apple pies, milk bar cake balls: peppermint bark, bday cake, and apple cider donut, and pumpkin torte.

Prime rib was smoked with cookinpellets blend two ways : coffee/bourbon rub and spg. Had some hot spots on the smoker so the cook wasn’t as uniform as I’d like, but the flavor was insane.

The stuffin’ was a new recipe and fantastic: spelt and cornbreads with sausage an md roasted chestnuts.

Felt very blessed yesterday. Hope everyone had as great a thanksgiving as we did!

Detroit-style pizza is a thick, square-cut pizza with a crunchy fried bottom and edges, cooked in a steel pan, always made with Wisconsin brick cheese. Pepperoni is placed under the cheese. The crust itself is not a raw dough, heavy consistency, but rather a lighter texture. We’re traveling again, so it’s another dinner in the RV. Filets, grilled asparagus, and salad, served with a Napa Cabernet. Life is good.
