It never ceases to amaze me how life really has no "coincidences". We are all placed in each others lives in the right place at the right time, and are given exactly what we need. It always comes from places we least expect.

Mornin' gang....
Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was a mixture of housework and time with friends. Had a surprise visit yesterday from my stepson and his wife (my ex was married prior to marrying me), and they brought me a beautiful Royal Doulton Figurine. Her name is "Nancy". Well, time to get the day rolling. Happy Monday, all! |

Things are fine and sitting on the front porch waiting on UPS. They usually deliver between 9:00 and 9:30, but a no show so far. Will give them until 11:00 then off to work for a couple of hours. We were very lucky because, after most of the new landscaping was installed in rained on Saturday, Sunday, and again this morning. In between rain showers, the sun shines for a couple of hours. Temps in the high 70s. Got lucky this time. Thanks for the kind comments. Up until this year, I did all my own work, but don't have the time. Once the kids become teenagers, the parents are no longer in control of their schedules.

Boy is that the truth. The difference is that with the little ones you have some flexibility when you clean, cook, dig in the dirt and so on. Once they get a little older and have outside interests, those events are scheduled by others and now you have to always work around the kids schedules. By others, I mean school, tennis lessons, piano lessons, girls on the run, sleep overs and the list goes on and on. It is all good, just now there is not enough time in the day for me to do all of my own work around the house.

Thank you for all the compliments!
Sometimes my husband and I just stare at her, she's such a cutie and so sweet! We couldn't be happier! Jim-- Go for it, I think William would love a little baby sister! And they're sooo much fun! Joe-- Thank you!

Nancy sent me an email meant for someone else, and then when I replied she could not figure out who I was, as she didn't recognize my last name... that, and her friend hypothesized that I might be the person who had stolen her credit card (since we shared the same first name). Or, something like that!!
