Saw 2 58s (on straps) at an AD.
I don't understand why people, perhaps this is a US thing, think there is a list. |

I have mostly vintage watches and this would have been my first high dollar watch purchased new. Admittedly I was a little excited to get the whole "experience". Until I discovered that the "experience" is similar to waiting in line to get into a club only for VIP's already on a list. To be honest, I doubt I'll buy anything from a dealer. I just want the watch, not the AD's validation. From an outsider's perspective, it's a ridiculous dynamic. On the up side, there are plenty of these watches available online. In fact I see more for sale than those reported on sites by new owners. I suspect the long wait lists are much shorter than perceptions. Here's how I think the wait list numbers are represented in reality; Wait list 1)VIP/Flipper 2)VIP/Video blogger/Advertiser 3)Me At dealer 1 4)Me at dealer 2 5)Me at dealer 3 6)Me at dealer 4 So, the single watch I purchased probably represents 5 people on the wait list. I only left my name at four places. I imagine others left more. |

Fifty-Eight Bracelet Design Flaw
Whenever you remove the watch, the pointy end of the clasp contacts the nearest link, leaving a trail on the brushed surface.
Here's my watch after only 1 week. Who knows what it will look like after a year... ![]() |

Mine doesn't
That area on mine just touches the bracelet only. No scraping at all.

Tudor Black Bay 58
There is scraping on mine too in the same area. Doesn’t bother me since I can just replace that link with an extra that I took off for sizing.
I also love this watch. It has so much character than my 16610, and for the price, it can’t be beat IMO. It’s keeping a dead on +-0 since I’ve had it (4 days). That’s well within the +6-4 COSC standards, so I am happy. Much better time keeping than my BB Red ETA. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Just got my BB58 and definitely enjoying it. Great watch.
One quick question for other owners. Does the bracelet sit flush to the case? Mine seems to have a very slight lip on both sides. Thanks. |

That’s irritating. All of my watches with the easy link extension leave marks. Not sure what can be done about it, so I don’t worry about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Even though my hands rotate counter clockwise when turning crown forward/clockwise/away from me, this movement is super accurate

Wait, you’re saying it adjusts time backwards when you turn the crown forward? That doesn’t seem right to me. Mine adjusts normally just like any other watch. Agreed that the movement has been keeping amazing time. Mine is still at +-0 after 5 days. Better than any of my other watches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Mine also adjusts time opposite the direction of crown rotation. Also runs great! +0.5 sec/day every time I put it on the timegrapher. Strong amplitude and always 0 beat error. This watch has definitely exceeded my expectations. Really enjoying this watch. Completely scratched my itch for quality, everyday wear, retro diver. I will say that it was heavier and not as slim as all the reports made it out to be. The BB41 must be a chunk! |

It’s the opposite of all my modern subs, djs, GMT’s, even its bigger brother black bay 41. The only watch in my collection that’s the same is my JLC moonphase. I called Rolex and they said it’s fine. They can go either way but doesn’t indicate a problem |

Yes it certainly does feel odd and it was something i noticed when i tried it on at my AD.
Apparently some older rolex movements turn backwards (backwards if you are use to modern sub's / GMTs) |

Would love to see this watch case in a TT or GMT next year but it might affect their 41 sales.

If they release the 58 with a date and a no gilt option this may become my daily wearer...

Congrats! Can’t wait to eventually have one of these. I was able to try one on at the AD when I picked up my 114060 and it was killer. Didn’t have the funds at the time for it though, such is life... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

![]() I got mine on a Nato - swapped it for another. The light weight and shape make this the perfect nato piece imo. It's so comfortable I can wear it to sleep. |

Just got mine today. So much slimmer & lighter than my BB Burgundy. Bracelet is perfectly proportioned & comfortable. Craftsmanship is evident. I believe I have found my daily wearer until the end of my days. Unless a burgundy bezel model comes out in the 58....

Was fortunate to acquire one recently. It definitely lives up to all the positive reviews. That scratch issue , unlock the clasp and then flick your finger nail under the point end of the buckle and lift up, easier to open and I think less likely to scratch the bracelet.

There is a new 58 on bracelet now on Chrono 24 from a US California dealer for $3719. If anyone is interested. Good price, MSRP is 3595.
