This was me last night.

Kenji’s NY pizza recipe.

48hr cold ferment for the dough. Full fat mozzarella. Delallo pepperoni. Baked on a cast iron tawa.

Mike’s Hot Honey added after the bake.

Only thing better than some jalapeño cheddar venison sausage is some jalapeño Parmesan wild pig sausage from my guy Al. Puts any other sausage to shame.

Finally had some time today and decided to do a big batch, double barrel, homemade Bolognese with sweet sausage tortelloni.

I grilled burgers. All ingredients from Publix. Wife tried to claim they were undercooked so we’ll be filing for divorce on Monday.

Hope everyone else’s weekend is better than mine…..

OMG! We went to very nice place dinner with some former friends a few years back and she ordered a Waygu steak well done. The waiter asked 3 times foe her to consider mid-rare to medium max on the temperature, but she stuck to her guns. The chef then came out to plead for her to change her mind and why it was important. She refused. They killed the steak for her and I felt the kitchen cry. I use the term former friends for a reason. They had a lot of quirks already including being “the guests that never leave” well after the party was over, and that was the last straw.
