That looks delicious. I’ve never tried making my own pasta. The wife is gluten free and there are some good GF dried pastas out there now but I love fresh pasta.

We had the pleasure of spending some time years ago in New Iberia, Louisiana. It’s nearest Lafayette and in the heart of Cajun country. It was named New Iberia from the Spanish immigrants to the area who named it after their native peninsula. Fantastic food from the area. Here we made some foul packs, smoked my own sausage and grilled some zucchini from our garden and all washed down with a delicious sangria!

Ahhhhhh, Labor Day weekend… the unofficial end of summer and the great American BBQ. Reversed seared tomahawk ribeye steaks with basil garlic butter, smoked baby back ribs, smoked sausage and homegrown zucchini just to put some vegetables on the plate. 😄

So jealous. We need to do some more international travel. Unfortunately my wife won’t leave our dog for that long. Last time we did it 5 years ago we got a call from the dog sitter that said she couldn’t come by for a few days because she doesn’t drive in the snow!

Enjoying a great steak tartare and a wonderful bouillabaisse in Bruges last night. Most enjoyable as was the service. Lovely canal city outside Brussels.
