The response was to a statement that one of our mods is not showing his collection. Just offering a possible explanation. I wrestle with the issue myself but live in a very low crime area. I think posting all the collection in one does make it easier for thieves to ID what they're looking for however. I find it pretty weird (and frankly a bit off-putting) that you’re a frequent poster on a forum devoted largely to posting photos of high end watches, frequently post photos of your own high end watches on said forum (including single photos of a whole bunch of your watches together), and are lingering on the one huge thread in said forum that’s devoted entirely to photos of large high end watch collections, all while simultaneously posting on the same forum (in the same thread!) about how dangerous and inviting-of-thievery you think it is to post photos of watch collections on this forum.

I think it’s really counter to the whole spirit of this place and likely makes people uncomfortable.

maybe it’s just me.
