I'd like to think so, but who knows anymore in this environment. That's why at this point I'm staying long and just riding the wave - no options for me and my bi-monthly automatic transactions are going to stay in cash for the next drawdown.

My lesson learned here is to not think a -2 or -3% drawdown is the dip to buy; holding a bit of cash on the ready is never a bad thing. I haven't been as disciplined the last couple of months as everything was green and I just saw myself adding at will. That will not happen again.

Congrats on what must be some major gains. I didn’t have the guts to play gme but I’m glad it worked out for you.

Nice rally today, but as of now we are still in a downtrend on the Weekly and Daily on the ES (S&P)

Same, sort of got complacent in the last few months, and when this all went red, I was in the hospital for nearly a week not paying attention, ignorant to what was happening. I brought my Macbook, but for some reason the wifi was down or not working... I thought, fine, just as well to detach for a change. And boom I get home and find my Tesla stock did me dirty.

Nothing I can do but hang on at this point.

Interested to see the Px action going into the close. Fading hard off these levels will probably tell me a lot.

Dipped my toes back in premarket today. Was comforted with oil price retreating despite reports of Saudi attack yesterday and news of production cuts to come.

TLT opened with interest rate dropping and then climbed back around 10:45 AM. Been holding steady and market seeing inflow of cash.

Thu’s US bond sales will be another indicator. Still expect to see chop near term so entry prices and stock picks are crucial going forward.

He’s clearly a troll... he only has 10 posts on TRF and they are all dumb questions on this discussion thread.

I'm assigned to do work on /NQ for a while, the flows are pretty risk on, I can't wait to see what happens for the 1 year crash anniversary and triple witching next week.

Asking if McDonald’s is a good buy, if Tesla is undervalued, buy shares or buy calls, or what are good penny stocks are all examples of waste of time questions that bring no value or help others on this thread. If you want “basic” direction it helps to just go on Google and get these answers. The users on this thread have helped me tremendously get more than a “basic understanding” and I would like them to continue contributing to this thread.

Looking at the 1 year anniversary in terms of what people do in terms of monetizing last years gains at LT cap gains rates? Sorry wasn't totally following...

Yea sure if everyone likes to play that long-term game. Sure.

/NQ looks like it's setting up for a nice upset.

That VIX can flip to 47 overnight. Then you can think of maybe being short vol.
