Copy that. Balsamic and EVOO is a classic. Makes total sense.

In Portugal 🇵🇹 now visiting friends who moved here. Lentil salad with pesto, Sardines and side salad and a Portuguese dish I can’t pronounce 😂

Your absolutely right Thomas. These were good and fresh straight out of the Atlantic Ocean. The ones I've had in Italy and Greece tasted better and when I asked the local fishermen why that is, they said it's because the salt content in the Mediterranean Sea is higher than the oceans of the world. The Med does have a higher salt content, but don't know if it affects the taste of the catch.

Finally made it to the Sunday farmer’s market in our new little town today. It takes up a block in each of the 4 directions off the main intersection in town. We got quite the haul! Fresh beets, lettuce, sourdough bread with olives, brats, beef tri-tip, fresh beef dog bones for Oso, green onions, and 4 lbs of cherries (the season is short).

We cooked the brats for dinner and made a beet and goat cheese salad to go with it. Served it up with a 2013 L’Ecole Apogee (red blend).

That sounds delicious! Tonight, I had homemade lasagna with a side of garlic bread. Nothing beats a hearty Italian meal. What about the rest of you?

Great dinner at Péche tonight. I had the lamb chops with zucchini noodles in a miso butter broth and tempura eggplant and tofu. Laurie had the Vietnamese Ga with coconut and pork belly jasmine rice with a mango salad. Both were amazing. So lucky to have a great restaurant like this in the small town of Palisade, CO.

What's for dinner guys....?????

That is some seriously good looking fare Roger.
I looked up the place for future reference - and to my amazement - a Google photo on Maps harkened me back to Hopper's Nighthawks.

What a cool coincidence.

Yes, it’s in town - just 15 minutes away. They evidently get booked up quickly in tourist season, so we’ll probably wait until fall to get back there again.

Stuttgart, Germany: I assure you that’s not scramble eggs with Veal schnitzel but rather German potato salad and schnitzel with mushroom sauce.
