Tonight we had locally sourced corn, wine, peaches, and onions in our peach salsa for our fish and shrimp tacos. The Mexican street corn was amazing. We’re loving all the local produce here and I can’t wait to build a lot of raised beds this fall so we can grown more of our own.

We did a dry rubbed beef tri-tip with chimichurri tonight with mashed potatoes and a beat, peach and goat cheese salad tonight. Much of this was locally grown - beef, potatoes, lettuce, beets, peaches, and parsley. We’re loving being in an agricultural area and also 15 minutes from town.

It’s quite good! I only eat it when I’m in China, they know how to cook it here! Not BBQ sauce in a traditional sense, more like a crispy glaze.
