The original dial had a scuff that looked touched up, the hands were relumed and the insert was changed by RSC Australia during service in another episode of “Rolex Does What it Wants” even though they were instructed not to (according to the original owner) so I replaced everything with NOS parts.

And for the shameless plug… It needs a new home due to lack of wrist time.

This thread is a reminder of what a big gaping hole I have in my collection.

I hope to remedy that some day!

All lovely and great pieces here.

Tudor 1962 - Reference 7928

My dad was a deep sea diver and gave me his watch last year.
I just had it checked by Rolex - all good to go.
unfortunately, I don't have a bracelet for it and I'm not sure what Rolex
bracelet model I can consider to put on it.
Looking for suggestions!

Superb specimen!

Rivet bracelet, leather or nato strap.

Either one goes well imo:)

Cheers

I have a Tudor 78500 on one of my 9411s and love it but would have been perfectly happy with a 93150 or something like a 78790 or 78360... Not period correct, of course, but prefer the more secure feeling of the later, non-folded, bracelets. Sacrilege to some, no doubt :)

Not quite, I stash all original bracelets and wear mine on solid links.

P.S. Love my Zub

Killer 7928 - Fantastic you have your dad's watch

Here is my 2 cents. If you are going to wear it a lot, put it on a new or reconditioned 93150 Fliplock Bracelet. Not a 60 year old rivet with a good chance of coming apart. Or just do the NATO / Strap thing.

My 61 says hello
