Some people dream of worthy accomplishments while others stay awake and make them happen.

Putting off an easy thing makes it harder. Putting off a hard thing can make it impossible.

That's very profound and the truth, to boot.

Pride is a personal commitment, it is an attitude which seperates excellence from mediocrity.

Greatness is not where we stand but in what direction we are moving. We must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it, but sail we must and not drift or lie at anchor.

"It's what's people know about themselves inside that makes them afraid."-High Plains Drifter movie

This is one of my favorites of all time from Papillon when Steve McQueen says this to Dustin Hoffman.

"Me, the can kill. You, they own!"

One from my favorite humorous books about an old mountain man who lived in a shack. He got sick one time as the author recalls and the old mountain man says to him inside of the shack

He turned in his small bed and sat up slowly. He was fully clothed down to the boots and growled feebly "Not long fer this whirl." As the author writes further he says "I was never sure what he meant, whether he meant "Not long for this world" or really "Not long fer this whirl," as i knew him well and he loved a good whirl as any other man i had met."

"You are symptomatic of the lazy, unimaginative lot which is driving this country on the rocks!"-Noel Coward-"Mr. Bridger"

A few from my hero Ayrton Senna:

"...Because you commit yourself to such a level where there is no compromise. You give everything you have, absolutely everything, everything. And sometimes you find even more because it requires more..."-Ayrton Senna

"Ayrton Senna will always be fast. He will always be young. He will never be old. He will always be a champion. Of Brazil. And of the World."

"I still have a lot more to learn as a man than as a racing driver, because my career could last, not many years. My life, hopefully, will go to a long time. Maybe i am at the already half of my life so far, so. There is a lot to go, lot to do, lot to learn, still life. And happiness will come when i feel complete as a whole, which definitely i don't feel today. But i have plenty time to fulfill that."-Ayrton Senna

About the Wolverine from "The wolverine Way"

"Go hard, and go high, go steep and never back down. Not even from a grizzly and least of all from a mountain. Climb everything. Trees, cliffs, avalanche chutes, summits. Beat everybody, alive, dead. Still warm, hard or frozen bones."

And last but not least:

"Christmas is a very busy time for us, Mr. Cratchit. People preparing feasts, giving parties, spending the mortgage money on frivolities. One might say that December is the foreclosure season. Harvest time for the money-lenders."-Scrooge

... That, is what makes Ayrton, Ayrton Senna...!! 100%

Our thoughts and our actions shape our destiny. We cannot direct the wind but we can adjust the sails.
