The 3 hander is slimmer and feels bigger than DT on the wrist although both are same size. Very comfortable too. Guess boils down to your preference for a clean dial or otherwise. Took a pic previously. Hope that helps Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk |

Is it me or are these the best bargains in the watch world right now? The design is beautiful, haute Horology movement, in many ways more functional than its PP and AP rivals with the interchangeable straps\bracelets, and attainable for sane numbers. Also something not common at all. What am I missing?

What is the waiting period? Presumably no discount to RRP.

I believe the movement of the Overseas lineup is completely in house whereas the fifty six is not. Please correct me if I’m wrong, and that may or may not matter to you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

For the Fifty-Six lineup, only the « simple » self winding model comes with an updated « not in-house » and « not Poinçon de Genève » movement.
The Other models comes with Vacheron Constantin’s in-house calibers and Poinçon de Genève finishing (both case and movement). I do not remember well but the Self Winding model, which is the entry level for Vacheron Constantin, comes with an updated (by Vacheron Constantin) movement from Val-Fleurier or Cartier. To be checked. Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk |

I really have admired VC Overseas for a while now, have tried on the current and previous iterations but I really think they are constantly overpricing their watches and now increasing the prices even further. For a the date Overseas at USD22k I think there's much better value in the market elsewhere. And don't get me started on their World time overseas...

Get the blue overseas. These are going up quickly. If you don't like it you can sell it for no worse than what you paid. That being said...it's an amazing watch and I can't recommend it enough.

I just purchased my first VC Overseas in BLK this weekend at a watch show/event and I ordered a blue one. The watches are stunning. They are huge value for the watch the company is over 270yrs old and they have all in-house movements. I perfer Vacheron overseas over the nautilus or royal oak. Just me... |

Understand from the boutique that blue dial should be a boutique exclusive going forward. If you are not bias towards any of the 3 options, then go for the blue. It should be more difficult to get in future.

Interesting- from a business point of view that makes sense, especially if they reduce production, which is what other companies seem to do.

Official vacheron overseas thread!!
Just joined the club today. I remember seeing the overseas on Cory Richards’s wrist in the print ads awhile back, and ever since I was hooked. I traded in a Rolex Datejust 41 everose/steel Wimbledon Dial and I do not regret it one bit.
I took some quick snaps today. Sorry not the greatest pics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
