I really like cheese a lot, Leo. I'd rather have cheese and crackers as a snack than any other snack food. I'm careful about portion sizes because of the fat, but need it for the calcium because of my Osteoporosis. I have crackers and cheese for lunch pretty much every day of the week!

Nancy, at the farmer's markets on the weekend around where I live we have a few good sources for cheese. Last week I also picked up a swiss with rye that is excellent. And Sunday I will be planning on buying a French blue cheese and eating it on Triscuits!!!

What an adorable picture...we love her.

She looks very similar to my niece did at that age...

This is Felisa, her mother is English and her father is Canarian...she has been blessed with the best physical traits of both...

It's funny how one kid can remind you so much of another. We had an event at our club recently. There was a kid about 12 sitting at the next table. He reminded me so much of Bill's Ethan. I didn't know either him or his parents, so couldn't very well just walk up to him and start snapping pics. They would have seen me as some kind of child stalker! Took a random patio pic to catch him although a full face pic would have had more impact.

You're right Nancy! He totally looks like Ethan!

And Jim, that's a really pretty little girl! I am curious to see with our Ileana is going to look like when she grows older!

OMG that's amazing!
I showed my wife and she asked when I had taken that picture. I then showed Ethan and he asked where I had taken the picture. He thought it was him too. Then he was excited that he has a twin.

They say we each have a "twin" somewhere in the world. I believe it absolutely. A few years ago I was paying for something in a drugstore and the cashier said...."How's your mom doing?" Well, my mother had passed away several years prior to that so I just smiled and told her that she was mistaking me for someone else. She was so surprised. She said..."There's another lady that comes in here that looks EXACTLY like you! She has the same hair, the same eyes and the same glasses and she dresses in exactly the same style that you do!" I then left the drugstore and went next door into the bank. I proceeded to make a deposit, and the cashier said...."So, how is your mother doing?"

Another time a woman at a bus stop said..."I remember you! You used to be the receptionist at Dr. So and So's office!" I said..."You have me mistaken for someone else. I've never worked in a doctor's office." She said....'YES YOU DID!!" and proceeded to be annoyed at me for not agreeing with her.

Ethan

Even the hair style is the same. Amazing.

I wonder if their baby pictures would be similar?

We need to start hanging around Canadian yacht clubs in hopes of meeting them. We could have the makings of a real life "Parent Trap".
Nah. My son is a good kid, gets good grades, excels at sports... I think he's a keeper.
However, there is that issue with talking back, dramatic pre-teenage angst, and general stubbornness...

Hopefully he looks more like Wendrfull.

Hey, Bill! We've had a little rain here today!

Actually....although we've had lots of thunderstorms and lots of rain today, this most recent pic was the hailstorm we just had! I was outside on the porch taking these pics.

Thanks Jim.

Speaking of winning, we won our baseball game yesterday. There was a big commotion after the game and I threw one of the other team's coaches out for swearing in front of the kids.

I'm a pretty mellow guy and folks are always surprised when I get my hackles up. Start throwing BS and F bombs around on a kids baseball field and my hackles get raised "right quick".

I have to be honest my language can be downright disgusting. I'm ashamed of it sometimes but I would never swear in front of children...I think it is absolutely awful spesh at a game involving kids...If I'd have been there I would have helped you man. Godd on yer mate

hmm. Little League. My son played a number of seasons, very successful, BUT....the game was mainly played around the ego of the coaches and parents. Coaches always talked about 'fun', but bottom line, the 'good players' always played and the rest rode the bench. there was familial favoritism in selection of team members, and at games often coaches and parents alike would scream at one another ,the umps, and their kids. i remember an incident a few years ago where one parent punched another during a game, and the other parent died. yeah. American Little League. JIMHO, would have to be changed quite a bit for it to live up to its reputation as a place for 'kids to have fun'.
Pa. is a place that loves Little League the World Little League Championship Series is held about 2 hours away from here......at Williamsport, Pa. And I know, I'm about to get whacked with criticism, but honestly, it was my experience out there....practicing and playing the kids in late March, early April, in the cold and rain.....fun?
