Nice, I got myself a Panama hat recently and it does look good all smothered up with plumes of the usual Drew Estate smoke.

Cross posted in another thread but:

I personally enjoy a cigar significantly more with a glass of bourbon (vs. Scotch). Do you guys prefer one over the other or enjoy both equally with a stick?

It's generally "bad form" to tap a cigar to release the ash.

Plus, it shows signs of quality craftmanship that a well made cigar retains is ash and is kept until it falls off itself.

Hmm. Okay, interesting. I guess a good wrapped high quality would stay together more. Makes sense. Just seems it might taint the flavor of tobacco as it’s smoked. I’ve been tapping the excess off lolol.

It burns a little cooler with some ash on, which benefits the taste, they get harsh when it gets too hot.

Also etiquette, out of respect for the cigar and its maker. When you're done smoking don't rub it out in your ashtray either, let it gently go out by itself.

Enjoying a Bolivar Royal corona combined with a single origin Guatemalan espresso, pressed on the LaPavoni. Beautiful sunny day.

Smoked one on the golf course and they need some rest, but should be good in a couple months
