Morning Nancy!
Going in to work a bit late today. I have a 9:00 appointment with the Dr. It's just the yearly checkup and to get my prescription refilled.
It beats working Lol.

Hi Bill, either Nancys still sleeping or she's grooming one of the cats with the chain saw.

Pretty sure I'm going to pay for this one.

Morning Bill! Slept in today. Woke up at 3:00 a.m. with a wicked headache and it was at least an hour before I could go back to sleep.

Yep...even a doctor's visit is like a mini-staycation, eh?

Uh oh, Al...

She's awake and probably read what you said about the cats. Looks like you're in the dog house now.

Geez, Leo! Give us a little heads up when you're gonna disappear like that! I was worried something had happened to you!

Sounds like a fun time. I absolutely love poking around at flea markets, etc., but haven't done that for years.

We saw Wicked in DC a couple of years ago with another couple. Arleen, Bob and I were laughing hysterically at the subtle references to Wizard of Oz. Midge (Bob's wife) couldn't understand why we were laughing until it came out that she had never seen Wizard of Oz. We looked at her horrified. A mature woman who had never seen Wizard of Oz. Why that was Un-American. We immediately went out and bought her a DVD of Wizard. I think she has watched it, but, of course, the significance of the lines in Wicked was lost.

Hey Nancy, hope that head is soothed somewhat...I woke yesterday with a sickening headache...as though tiny miners were drilling for grey matter.

My pillow position is often a cause..if I have a restless night and my neck is twisted etc I usually get a headache or migraine.

I hate waking up in the middle of the night with a bad headache. For my entire life I've had this awful phobia that I'm going to die of a brain aneurysm. Freaks me out every time I get a sudden headache like that.

Michael Keaton is great in it though...he's hardly in it if you actually pay attention to his lines and the running time.

His tv ad in the movie kinda reminds me of Joe...

Duly noted - I think Phoebe would do just fine but June might find it a little scary. Jury's still out on Violet - lately she's been carrying around a halloween skeleton - the realistic looking kind dressed in gray rags - and sleeping with it on her pillow.

Poor William! I'm sorry about his trike accident. That must've hurt!

What kind of trike did you get him, by the way?

Also - fyi - we tried the trick of removing the pedals from Phoebe's bike and teaching her to coast/balance on it... then putting the pedals back on - she IMMEDIATELY began riding almost perfectly. This, after months of her dependence on the training wheels - the trainers actually worked against her because she became afraid to try to ride without them. Dave kind of started over with her with the "pedaless" technique and after three outings, she was riding.

We'll definitely do the same thing with June and Violet.

His grandparent bought him the kind of run of the mill "character" trike so really shot my plans to hell for the Trek Trikester!!!!!

He's fine though, he's got a couple of cuts and bruises and chipped a teeny piece off his bottom tooth.

You can be as safe as you can but by the time we'd reacted, he'd gone over the handlebars....only way to be 100% sure is not let him ride the trike.

Good to hear the news on the pedaless technique...it's the way forward...we're gonna get him one next year...he's still to small for a 12" wheel bike!

I am not talking with you anymore because you think a BIG BOX is a two bedroom redneck condo.
