Thanks, Lisa. I'm so glad it's finally done. We have one more big job that needs doing, and that's to pour a stamped concrete patio in the back yard. However, that won't happen til next summer 'cause we gotta pay for THIS stuff first....or so the bank says.

The wine is mine. Al rarely drinks wine. He's a beer/rye and Pepsi kinda guy.

Everytime we watch Pride and Prejudice, hubby tries to imitate a Georgian (I think) era British accent. Eek!!

Sorry, Leo. Who's spoken for me again? I can't remember...

By the way, I'm going to pick up my bike today, if I can get the kids out of bed and dressed and fed before the shop closes! Also going to look at a really funky pair of eyeglasses frames an optical shop ordered for me - they're very round and retro and thick tortoise - might be a little over the top but I might get them anyway!

Are you going to ride today?

Something tells me Joe could handle that! He could let the bigger kids push the carts with the beer...

Yes, I'm planning on going out and riding twice today. Once this morning and then in the early evening. Thinking of glasses I have wanted to get frames with round lenses(like John Lennon)and no one offers them anywhere!!!

Okay ladies...teach your men (apart from Al...but in case he's forgotten)

Learn from Jim...

Lesson 1

When one's lady companion does something pleasing you should refrain from a simple grunt or single uttered word eg "great".

Rather, one should smile politely and say "That is simply super!"

Remember the word "super" will require a slight British afflection at the start with an elongated vowel sound written phonetically "sooooper". One should always remind oneself that it should remain "that is" and never "that's" at all times!!!!!
