BMW dropped their program, at least for US customers. I think it was even before covid. I have no plans to buy a new Porsche but hope they continue.

It was an amazing experience. I documented a lot of it earlier in this thread, was a great trip. Definitely bucket list item, glad we did it. I have a bond with this car I would have not had otherwise.

I've always wanted a Lamborghini as a kid and was finally able to get one. Next is maybe the Aventador replacement or a Ferrari...

I pick this up tomorrow. 2023 GT S.

Some of the best reviews I’ve ever seen given. I have always wanted one of these. But was wary based on the rep and the prior models reviews.

This sucker is all I like in a car. Style, balls, class, power, sound and comfort. Oh and awd with all season tires. Hard to beat.

On a call now. Can’t wait to get off and go pick her up. Need a sinister name for this one.

And I need to decide matte or clear ppf. Open to thoughts that anyone might have.

The way the quality of their paint is, I would want to show it off all the time....go clear PPF......and for a name, Darth Vader.

Clear PPF with ceramic coating on top of the PPF. That’s what I did with the F12 and it looks like liquid obsidian (when clean) and in the right lighting.

I named mine the dark knight lol

I vote clear ppf. Black is perfect for that car. I'd call it simply Nero.

Congrats Seth, killer car, you are going to love how it drives. I agree with the others on Clear over Matte, of the latter I would prefer satin ppf over matte.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the feedback.

I’m hopeful this will stick similar to the 911. Based on what I like, this does appear to cover all my requirements.

But time will tell. This is actually a pretty strategic buy for me. I knew it was coming, I just thought it would be next year. I had been saying I’ll get one for my 50th. But it’s a year early. And I’m looking for a place in Florida. So I’ll ship the turbo s cab there (likely drive it) and keep it there. For now with my folks, as I’m waiting for the RE market to drop before I pull the trigger.

So it’s just a bit early, but this car has been a long time plan.

The black is definitely incredible. But I do feel this particular car looses the lines with solid black. And I’m a big contrast guy. So I do think I’m going matte. I have a day to decide. I might just tell my guy to surprise me. I’m thinking it’s one of those can’t lose scenarios.

Regardless of ppf color, I’m choosing between Nero (great suggestion), or Vader.

Regarding my quick moves through cars…I wish I had more time, garage space and money. I’d hold longer. As it stands now, similar to watches, I’m just searching for the perfect set up. I think I’m getting there, albiet with a lot of experimentation.
