I did try on a blue Pelagos several days ago and I thought it was gorgeous. It was the first time I have tried it on, and I really liked it. Nice brush finish and I thought the blue was stellar---I couldn't get over how I could see straight through the glass like its not even there since it has underside AR coating. Very nice.

I have only set and wound it once and then I turned it upside down as it winds and sets as normal that way.

Yes. It's really a non issue. I like that it's a bit unique. It does take a moment to adjust to setting it but I don't find the need to do that often with the solid power reserve. I already have a pelagos blue so I am a big pelagos fan and use to everything else.

I love the creamy lume and roulette date wheel. It's already a daily type watch for me but I never get too attached to any watch

Hmm tough call Bas. Great watch but if you've got your sights on something I would stick to it. At least until prices settle in case it doesn't float your boat and you end up wanting the initial target!

Thanks for relaying that the LH setup is a non-issue for you. Since I have a black SubC, its a tough call between the blue or LH Pelagos.

Just picked up No. 257. Stunning piece. The red really pops off the dial and takes away the slightly cluttered look of all that text. I no longer feel bad about selling my red 1680 or DRSD. Well, not quite as bad.

Side note: I do think it's odd that none of the Tudor paperwork/card mentions the case back number. It just lists the watch serial number. I assume that Tudor's own records link the serial number to the case back number, but I'm not sure. I had my AD add the case back number to the sales paperwork so there's an official record of it.

Congrats to everyone that has got one here! I have tried a couple of ADs here in town who are having trouble getting them. Still waiting to hear if they will get them or not. Makes me wonder what tudor will do after number 999 is sold amongst all the others? My guess is they will decrease the font to accommodate a fourth digit.

My guess is they will not number them anymore. It will just be the regular Tudor LHD with a smooth caseback.

I do hope so too... all engraved numbers are flat, while the caseback orientations are different based on photos I have seen... I guess the engraving is done after the watches are assembled, instead of being part of the caseback making process

I called around town today, 6 total dealers here in las vegas. To my surprise 1 dealer actually said he had one in stock. Needless to say, I had him place it in the back and was down there in less than an hour. I picked up #250, glad to finally say I have officially joined this group!
