No that's the launch date of the iPhone 2G...

iPad is going to be there sometime around Christmas 2015.

I don't get it how some of you guys are afraid of your wives when it comes to watches. What kind of loved one would prevent you from owning what you love and enjoy?

I used this same argument on my wife when proposing that I be allowed to have a girlfriend on the side!

It didn't work....

I still don't understand why anyone would want an iPad... Its not as good as a laptop and cant make calls. To me it seems like a glorified ipod. Please explain why anyone would want one?

For the same reason someone would want a Rolex instead of a Casio mutli-function watch (e.g. one with a calculator).

Rolex anytime!
Same thing may be said about iRolex, just as there are many choices of tech toys, there are many choices for wristwatches. Many people buy Rolex because it is Rolex, the same reason many people by iPad because it is made by Apple.

It is your money, do what you want. I would want to make my wife happy, in the long run, she may tolerate my watch obsession longer.

yeah but a watch is a watch. It tells time, what does an ipad do? It's like a crippled notebook. I'm not sure I follow your comparison. An ipad is like a casio? It just seems like a collosal waste of cash for a redundant device. Don't misunderstand, I have an iPhone but this ipad seems like it does nothing great or unique. Why not just get a MacBook ? It's just a giant iPhone that you can't make phone calls on right? Either way keep buying them fellas cause I grabbed apple shares at 105.

I think we all know the answer to this question ROLEX !!
