No "dummy"- read my response below. Again try and keep the facts straight so you don't start accusing members, who you don't know from Adam, as being dishonest. See my response below and try to enjoy your vacation-

I would be careful who you are calling "the dummy"
Clearly if you were able to read you would have seen it spelled out for you....

While indeed true (and I had no idea, before you brought it up), I think we all knew (at least all of us living in the US) what the OP was referring to. Notwithstanding the motivation for your original post, I appreciate learning something new today, however, bringing this up in a kinder more informative way might have been more appropriate in your original post, and thus would not have come across as possibly a condescending comment towards the OP.....

There have been a few threads about being kinder to one another in our posts, and perhaps this is another opportunity for us (myself certainly included) to be reminded that being kind to each other here can only add to the already positive experiences of being a member of TRF.....

I have seen 2-tone models and other unpopular steel models for 15-20% off. The highest discount I have seen is 25 % and the lowest was 7 % or basically saving the cost of sales tax.

Back in 2002 I saw a Rolex price list that listed the prices for the AD to buy from Rolex and them the MSRP. If memory serves a 16610 was about 1900 cost and to be sold for 3600 or so. FYI

I did see that revision in the last part of your post but clearly, I was referring to the very first sentence wherein you state: "I am in Florida on vacation right now so I decided to call 17 different AD's up and down the West Coast."

And, just so we're clear, it was you who cast the first "dummy" stone my friend, which is why I placed it in between two little punctuation marks we call quotations. Apparently the mod must have deleted it from your original post but to refresh your recollection-
