So I just got my watch.. Datejust 116200 with jubilee band msrp: $5895
I payed $5273 plus $50 insured shipping no tax.. 0% financing for 12 months... They are not shipping until Monday so I will have it next week some time... I was close to going with with 116234 with white gold Fluted bezel for $6173 but I think I like the domed bezel better... |

I also have a question.. There was no hologram sticker on the back of the watch, the owner said that rolex stopped putting them on because it was easily faked so none of there new watches have to hologram sticker just clear plastic... Also the etched crown can not be seen with the naked eye at 6 o,clock correct? The placed is a Ad so I should not be worried ..lol..

Stone, let me be the first one to congratulate you. Regardless on how you paid for it or not - you worked for it and got it.
Congrats and enjoy in good health! Welcome to the forum too!

Pay cash and be done with it. You have the money already aside for it, so figure out what you want to pay (assuming it's a reasonable offer), and go for it. Your already in the drivers seat. And like someone said above, put the money down on the table and tell them you want this watch now.
I would enjoy the watch more, knowing I didn't finance it. |

But spend some time in the sun with a magnifier and find that coronet in the crystal. You'll be glad you found it. Congratulations. |

Leonardo Jewelers is on the Rolex website as an authorized dealer. They are located in Elizabeth, NJ which has a 3.5% sales tax: http://www.leonardojewelers.com/. Rosie gave me a good deal on a 36mm Datejust with 11 diamonds/silver face, white gold fluted bezel, and oyster bracelet for my fiancée-- Adam.

Got the watch for $5300 shipped no tax and 0% interest for 12 months.. My first payment is not due yet but the $5000 in SILVER made me about $1,430 since the thread was started.. So the growth in the silver will pay for the watch in 6 months and will end up paying a lot less with the way the dollar is falling.. Can anyone say hyperinflation.? So to all those people saying rethink my position on silver, I think you should look around at this world we live in and rethink EVERYTHING.. |

First off, and let me be clear, the dollar is not falling as hard or as fast as the OP is predicting. Reading his posts you'd think Doomsday is around the corner. It's not. The US economy is cyclical. Give it time. Second, and this is Econ 101, your dollar is ALWAYS worth more today than it will be tomorrow. That's not just due to the times we're living in, it's always been that way. As for China calling in its loans: IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. The second they do we slap a tariff on everything that comes out their ports and their economy free falls. The US is the largest (in terms of wealth) consumer market in the world and if China couldn't sell its cheap crap to us it would implode on itself. Not to get too political, but turn off Fox News OP...
Congrats and enjoy your new watch by the way...lol

Second of all look at the dollar index in the last year and look at commodities.. Oil, metal, grain , while the dollar index continues to drop commodities are going up.. It's not even about china calling back it's loans it's about the USA not being able to afford the interest on these loans pretty soon.. I Am not about this doom and gloom only stating what I am reading and seeing first hand and I have not watched any news in the last 10 years.. |

I am the last one to want this to happen but look at the dollar vs the euro or in that case the dollar vs any other currency. Look at the price of food, metals, everything. It's all going up while the purchase power of the dollar going down. If you keep printing money and backing it with your word then everyone is going to catch on.. The federal reserve is Bernie Madoff and we are all it's his clients..
