Spectacular watch, David and Ken. Great story, great watch, and a couple of great guys. Take care of that beauty.

It's not often I hear buyer and seller both so happy, for themselves and each other...

That's what I call a GREAT deal, all round!

I'm only echoing others but Ken... You ARE da man!
It's a mark of what a nice guy you must be that you can bombard us with pic after pic of some of the greatest watches ever made by the hand of man an yet I never hear anything but love for you!
Sure, we're all as jealous as all hell, but I think everyone feels "if it can't be on my wrist, I'm glad it's on Kens"!

Both Ken and his watches are simply amazing!! I think we both cannot ask for any better of a friend!! I've learned so much over this past year from Ken, you and Sunny that I am truely grateful for having such good friends!! I still remember when Ken and I was joking sometime last year saying we'll be Rolex vintage experts by next year...LOL!! But I still have a long way to go!!

But HUGE Congrats again and enjoy the beautiful piece!! You guys are the best!!

Best,
Jon
Thanks so much Jon its amazing how great we can get to know each other through watches, its nothing short of a blessing to have such great friends.

Thank you so much, the case seriously looks like it came right out of the assembly line.

It cannot be said enough what a great guy Ken really is. Your right he has a collection that is unbelievable but yet he is the most down to earth guy. What a treat to have him so active on this forum. Cheers to you Ken.

Excellent update on the photo's, they are all good but this one really does capture the wonderful condition of that case and a dial that any vintage collector wants to see when looking at their watch

That is sweet. Will we see it at a Ravens game this year? I'm trying to get tix for Week 1 Ravens/Steelers.

Have you been down to Buddy Huguley's in Annapolis? He's getting more and more vintage.

Hey! I will not be wearing it to any games unless it's going to be the Ravens in the superbowl ;).

I have not been down there but if they carry vintage I may take a trip there very soon. I will bring the watch to the GTG on the 11th. Will you be joining us? I know you have been busy...

Veeeerrrrryyyyy nice.

A real beauty

Out of interest I was in Burlington Arcade in London last weekend and David Duggan has a DRSD from 74. Apparently the original box which the sales woman made a big thing about but no original papers just a recent Rolex service.

And the price - a mere £20k .......

I was just gonna text you about it, I also need to talk to you about getting an appraisal done. Maybe we can wrap it all up in one trip, or do it on the same day as the big GTG on the 11th. Let me know

It looks like a version IV dial, this version is the most common one made for the DRSD, and the case looks to be like new condition, a real nice piece. Was this made about 1968?
