I am having the same dilemma, i really like the 000 and the 112 but cant decide which to go for? I guess i dont want to buy the cheapest one and wish i had bought the 112. Really hard to decide!

000 is not the cheapest (anymore). 380 (new model) is about $200 cheaper

There are just so many to choose from, buying rolex was a much easier decision!
I also really like the 372, but could be a bit too huge and im told it is either not out or very difficult to obtain. |

The 372 is not a L/SE (it is part of the Historic Collection), so in theory at least you should be able to obtain one eventually. As to the size, you could visit some ADs and try other 47mm Luminor models to give you an idea.

Thanks psmith I probably should try one in that size. I'm very happy with 44mm but that 372 is just stunning. I'm sure if I had it on I would struggle to resist!

![]() Not to stray to far off topic (sorry Handy!) but I am struggling to get my head around a ~$10k base model with an acrylic crystal. At this price level, I'd be looking at a gently used 233...

Quick question.... are the base models essentially the "entrance" models and the cheaper end of the scale for panerai?

You will find that many high end collectors have a 000 in the stable or a 112, etc. Yeah they are amonst some of the cheapest models that Panerai offers, but they are also highly desired due to their looks. Take the 390 for example. It is a base model that is $5100. Everyone is dying to get one.

Great choice! I was looking for a zerozerozero myself until a great value 111 reared it's ugly head!
