After reading about these on a similar thread here on TRF, I then did some additional research and bought these. Fantastic is all I can say. I got the "drivers" lens, wow, they really do reduce eye strain.. They'll spoil you and you won't be able to wear anything else.

Glass may be king for everyday wear...
Not so much when there's the danger of being hit in the face by a 3" solid plastic ball traveling at 90mph! Admittedly, though, that won't be everyones first consideration!

It's about time someone posted a Sunglass thread! I wear Ray Ban RB2140 Wayfarer's Polarized lens. Got them as a birthday present, even though I paid half. Got them for $180 at Costco!

My good ones are some custom ic! Berlin - uber cool. My beaters are some Ray Bans that kinda look like John Lennon's shades. My "tactical" are wind and dustproof ballistic-grade Wiley-X XL-1s.

Maui Jims/Oakleys
I hate wearing the MJ's in my car, as the stereo has a polarized cover, which is at 90 degrees to my glasses, so it is invisible while wearing the polarized MJ's, but you can't beat them for driving visibility.

I know what you mean. I always see pairs sitting on the shelf from other brands that look awesome but not so great when I try them on. I always end up with Ray Bans...its all about how they fit no matter what brand.

I have a pair of Oliver Peoples Aero 57s. Great glasses but a little on the expensive side.

I have ALWAYS been a fan of Serengeti glasses with the photo chromatic lens.
About 10 months ago the salesperson talked me into Maui Jim so I am currently wearing those... With that being said, I do not care for them and I want my Serengeti back. The lens is okay but I just cannot get the comfort I want and I really miss the lens ability to lighten and darken according to the ambient light.

Just lost a vintage pair of Ray Ban aviators from The 40s. My favorite glasses ever owned by a pilot in WWII .
Replaced with new Ray Bans and Persol
