My dream watch is the 1970 daytona I inhereted from my uncle. I was so happy to get it and then I found out two things: 1. What it was worth and 2. He never wore it.

As a result I never wear it either! But now I bought my own daytona and I plan to wear mine so when I die and my nephew inherits it, he can wear it.

Now to make a new one, I will take a WG daytona with British racing green mini dials and bezel.

A 6202 Monometer has great appeal ...

I've never seen one in the flesh but it ticks a lot of boxes for me

So would I. So many great combinations I could dream up for Rolex to make. Here's another; an Exp I, but with the dial blue instead of black, and with an Exp II bexel.

Or maybe a Yachtmaster, but with a slate Serti dial like from a Sub 16613.

Keep the ideas coming folks. Looking for customs, not just grail watches that already exist.
