Google "Rolex forums" on any browser. Google will note that the site has suspicious code, and warn you if you attempt to enter.
This is independent of device/OS/browser. |

Mac with Snow Leopard here. Got the warning in Firefox 8.0.1 and when using Google, nothing from Safari.

I ran a scan on my computer and there was no malware, so all the attacks must have been cleaned immediately.
I've been on for a few minutes and no attacks so that's a good sign.

I'm getting the warning too, using Snow Leopard. If you uncheck "Warn when visiting a fraudulent website" it stops. Otherwise it just keeps popping up and makes the site unusable.

The thing about it is you can't scan for a valid piece if code that is in TSR mode. It will look valid to AV software because it isn't a virus. It will look like a valid Java applet (in this particular case). The positive thus far is it Prompts the user to update Java. But folks who have set their preferences to "automatically update" might not see a Prompt.

TRF MALWARE Warning!!!!
Is anyone else having problems with this??
All day today when I've tried to access TRF via computer (Mac or PC) with both Google Chrome and Safari I get a "Warning: Malware Detected" page. Is anyone else having these problems with our beloved site? Has TRF been hacked or compromised?? |

What would concern me is that Explorer wouldn't pick up the malicious software. Before Chrome warned me early this morning, my computer's anti-virus software said it was detecting something unusual from Chrome.

Its all the "4000 post threads" that brought the malware.

Yes. I'm using Avast anti-virus, and it's been popping up all day, just on this site. It's showing up on both computers.

Well, now I'm getting the same thing. Looks like my google safe browsing updated today and now is showing the same message. I called Apple Technical support and the verified that TRF is showing up as a site to be avoided.
I actually am running a scan on my Mac using ClamXav and will report back if anything found. I was online last night for a while but was never prompted to download anything nor was anything downloaded in the background. I am accessing TRF via my iPhone without any apparent issues or warnings....

Try clearing your cache and temporary files; then go to the TRF main log-in page..
There is a wave of thugs trying to mine information on a number of sites but that warning is being generated by Google for an unknown reason .. TRF does not have any known malware or viruses at this point.. Since it is happening on some computers, but not on another in the same house, the indication is that your computer has accepted a cookie or other code from outside TRF. However, Steve is running a diagnostic on the TRF server as a precaution

Larry has already posted this on another thread concerning this. Here it is again:
