Between the Sinn and the Heritage I prefer the heritage. Sad to see the mm300 go but I can see why ;)

I don't know, I see a distinct resemblance between my Sinn and the IWC Portuguese I like. If the IWC is considered "dress" I'd have to say this 358 Jubilaum would also be in that category, no?

One more piece to the puzzle arrived today! I knew I would love this watch but my expectations have been exceeded so far. I will let all the others wind down and rest for awhile. This will be on the wrist day to day for a few weeks to "bond"

Other possibilities are the Patek Philippe Nautilus and the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. While the VC Overseas is still relatively new, and doesn't have the iconic status of the Genta designed Nautilus and Royal Oak, I think it has the potential to be a modern classic, and certainly has a more contemporary feel to it.

I love the Tuna Can. IMHO you woul regret selling the LN. I have. DSSD and considered dropping the LN but fact is I wear it way to much. It fights with my AP ROO chrono 44mm for most wrist time. It's just too versatile.
That Seiko Spring Drive is so sweet. I think I could see one in my future. What a great watch!!!!! |

The spring drive is truly an incredible watch. My favorite thing about it is how close the tip of the second hand is to be chapter ring, it's like a mm or less clearance showing the insane craftsmanship and hand built precision that goes into it.

The update is I have 4 divers, which I'm fairly sure there's a couple folks on here with that many or more that are not professional divers. I have 2 chrono's and white dialed 42mm Explorer II and looking for a silver or blue dialed DJII. Really the only Omega that interest me are the 8500 PO and the Ploprof 1200M I had and sold. Don't care for the moon watch at all, too busy and I have zero use for a tachymeter. This is why I don't have anymore pilots with slide rule bezels or buy watches with tachymeters. Divers pretty much fit my lifestyle, durable sporty, ability to time things pretty easily, no worries about whether I should keep it on or take it off for an activity. I wear a suit once or twice a year and never really need anything more dressy then a clean chrono or maybe something like a date just or the VC suggested above.

I thought for sure once I solidified my core 6-10 watches that I was going to be good to go. I truly know I will never be 100% satisfied but I do think I'm getting closer and closer to having a small group that I enjoy and wear and don't make me go out and continue looking for others.

As a running update to this thread I thought I would show what I'm working with now! I am obviously partial to divers and feel my needs for a dressier option are non-existent at this point in my life. I still may keep the Sinn 358 chronograph but this is what I go through on rotation and what I would consider my "keepers." I didn't find my couple G-Shocks to add but they are not much to look at anyway and essentially beaters.
Sorry for the poor lighting. It seems it's dark every time I get a chance to take a picture of my watches all together and I'm pretty good at a lot of things but photography and managing my light is not one of them.

My newest addition to the clan.
And where I ended up and where I'll likely stay for quite a long time due to really burning myself out with all of this buying and selling. It's stressful, costly, frustrating, time consuming, argument inducing, and down right tiring.

Pardon the resurrection but I would love an update; specifically did the DSSD and Tuna endure? Spring Drive too? This saga was very interesting.
