Holy thread bump Batman!

Mike, I must admit I voted I don't like DDII's as I prefer the classic size of the 36mm models, however, if I had to choose one it would be yellow gold!

Below is the very first Rolex I ever tried at Carl Bucherer in Zurich, Switzerland.

Yeah, RG and choc is the best combo, also on the Dayt.

Otherwise blue for me, altho blue dial makes it seem more sporty and less expensive so you get alot less bang for your buck which suits guys who like the stealth look and who dont have a YG GMTc!!

I Like the Rose Gold chocolate dial - on someone else's wrist...

I Love the Platinum w/arabic numbers or concentric dial , but I could easily settle for a white gold as the better buy!

Between the two choices I am more a fan of the everose. Then again I already have a white gold one which is close enough to the color of platinum so perhaps that's why I made that choice.

However I am actually more Into the everose with black Roman instead of chocolate Roman dial. Perhaps it is because my 41-year-old eyes are starting to become a bit less acute, but the black Roman dial on that watch has a bit more contrast and I think tones down the coppery look of the rose gold versus the chocolate dial which tends to (in my opinion) accentuate that coppery look and on me does not look as good.

YUP!! This will be the DDII that I get. Either this or suck it up and get the SkyDweller in Everose/chocolate dial.

I vote platinum over RG, but I prefer the black RN dial (WG) over the PT ice blue IMO, saw it in person at my local AD and I just couldn't stop staring at it.. My gf had to pry me away.. :)

Wow..this is a serious thread revival. LMAO I thought...Mike's buying another DD? And he's putting out a poll? So I thought...ok, then if he already has a platinum one I should vote for the rose gold & black, although the rose gold & chocolate is an absolutely gorgeous watch. And the rose gold would go well with his skin tone. THEN I saw the date...

Voted "not" because I only like the 36mm for DD and DJ, but that is just me.

Two days on the forum and you're an archaeologist already!
I do agree with the assessment: the DDII Platinum has PRESENCE than can only (nearly) be matched by the Platona. But the DDII exudes pure class at the same time.
Welcome to the forum! Sorry for bustin' yer balls...

I voted Pt. The YG I definately prefer in 36mm. The RG I could go either 41 or 36, but would really like a RG skydweller instead.
