Note to self do not try and buy an AP during August as AP basically goes on vacation and really don’t ship anything to AD’s. Very frustrating.

Have been lusting and looking for this one since late July, but just missed it from my AD by one day the last week in July. So the hunt began...it was a L O N G wait (very impatient), but well worth it.

Love the RG against the black strap...just stunning to me. This watch POPS off the wrist and is looker.

The AP sickness continues. Thanks for following the thread and now I present my new grail (for now):

FREE AP BOOK AS SWAG--VERY COOL!!!

FITS JUST FINE UNDER REGULAR SHIRT SLEEVE.

Excellent choice Paul, and sharp photos too.
And it has gotten me all excited too.
Loving it... Crazy over it... Can't sleep without thinking about yours photos...
I am just drooling...

Eddie, don't say it's so--scratch I agree a simple combo pack of FC and RG would be easier

Something that heavy could only be a Petek box...those things are solid wood.

Its a pity Rolex doesn't make those solid timber boxes anymore, that red coloured timber was beautiful.

We'll see how good business goes....maybe an upgrade to my ROC next year ;)

But I must say, the new RG ROO really is simply stunning. I don't favor the rubber strap, but the watch itself is unbelievable.

Really? I think that is one of the things that makes this watch. The contrast in colors is awesome.

This watch with a gold bracelet would weigh a ton.

Not a bracelet, leather strap. I think a nice leather/hornback/etc strap would be perfect. Just feel that rubber is very Diver-y and not sufficient for such a gorgeous and very substantial watch.
