Yes I wasn't expecting the links like this and the gouges on the crown guards, and also on the other side of the case, they are pretty deep.

That's great, those gouges will take quite a bit of polishing, possibly laser welding, quite costly. if just polished the case shape will be compromised, are you returning it ? keep us informed.
