Very cool. Love that watch...and I agree with the posters who say you rarely see one in the wild. I have only see one and it was a PVD version!

Get this, I said "Nice Milgauss" to the owner of the PVD hack...in an attempt to start a watch chat. (Big mistake) He looked at me like I was from Mars. He was an attorney...so I jokingly asked him if he encountered a lot of magnetic fields in his line of work. At that point, he headed for the door. Needless to say, I never start watch conversations any longer unless I am at a GTG.

I see you have the later dial variant. The "Oyster Perpetual" is more longated than the original. The "Milgauss" font is also a smidge smaller / shorter. I love the matte dial and the way the curve of the lugs hugs the wrist.

You are building a very nice collection there! The GV would have most likely been my favorite Rolex reference, however, after 2 days of ownership Mrs. FremStar decided she liked it better on her wrist than mine Who am I to argue!

In any event wear it in the best of health, you have a nice mix of Rolex timepieces! Enjoy!

Hahah Mrs. Fremstar! It's funny because as I said above the only time I ever saw a Milgauss in the wild was on a girl. Maybe I did pick the right timepiece if girls seem to like it?!

When I am really old and wear matching monochromatic sweatsuits around town. Then and only then will that Rolex hat fit in.

I do what I can Sam.

Enjoy the watch Evan. It's not girly at all. Although I know Jennifer Anniston has one. Come to think of it...it's a PVD hack as well!!!

Evan, yes we do need to conduct a on scene assessment of the AD's new stock, and that hat would look outstanding paired with your basic garden variety zoom bag. That could even spawn a new call sign!

Man if I got "Rolex" as a call sign, that would make my day.

Now you can stay near a magnetic field and it'll keep perfect time!

Love the watch (and your subject line). I knew as soon as I read the subject line, before I clicked the link, that I was going to get punched in the face with a sweet pic of a Milgauss. Well done all around!
