He must have lost 30 pounds since I saw him last.

I don't even recognize him in that pic.

Definitely do not agree with what Steve Mullohollad did to his friends, fellow traders & clients.!!

..But I am glad Steve is out and finally paid his dues to society from errors he committed.
The stigma associated with being an ex-felon in America is unlike anything a person
can comprehend unless they walk in the shoes of Steve Mullholland. - People get ill everyday
but they somehow recover and are able to seek opportunity and they are made whole,
Steve on the other hand will suffer for a lifetime, for decisions he made while sick on hard drugs.!

I wish Steve a better life, I hope he regains his dignity and self respect
Not to repeat the mistakes of the past and most importantly never to go back.

Major bummer, I'm sorry you got taken for a ride. I was scamned out of some money by a guy who was supposed to do some bodywork on my GMC about a month ago. The voice in the back of my head was telling me something wasn't quite right, should have listened. Thought I was too old to fall for something like that, guess not. Live and learn; some more... Try not to beat yourself up too much; karma always comes around for these types.

Out of curiosity, I search engined the name Steve Mulholland and this came up first:

From the Singapore Rolex Club: Vintage Dealer Steve Mulholland Arrested.

Something about "Retail Theft Prior Conviction"

Talk about red flags going up.

"Danger, Danger Will Robinson!"

Sorry you got scammed and hope you eventually come out ok on this.

i agree with you and the member that posted above you. my wife and i had no transactions with steve but over the course of a few years being fellow members of various forums he seemed to have a chip on his shoulder towards us and nothing nice to say about us, but perhaps that was his style towards other collectors that manage to find rare watches that didn't come thru his hands. no one should wish bad health or have ill-will towards another and we agree he paid his debt to society and deserves another chance. whether we or anyone else likes him, he is quite knowledgeable about vintage watches and perhaps he can put his knowledge to good use working in an advisory capacity to another dealer or pawn shops in his area and make a new start in life. he does seem intelligent enough to do so. however let's hope his intelligence prompts him to get cover-up tatts and get rid of the swastikas as that would certainly prevent us and most others from ever giving the guy the time of day.

That is the purpose of being alive, otherwise "you rot". and since I wish no one to end up like that, that's why I disagree with you.

But my initial post is not about "MY" personal ethics, (to go back into the subject) but to warn others as much as I can about Steve, and give him a second, third etc chance.
Some people are simply bad news and do not deserve a second chance. Think Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Daimer.

It's awful that you must fight them to get your watch back. Can't they get into trouble for accepting stolen goods?

The reason he gave you a hard time was not because of the venue you used to obtain watches .........

I clicked the link, then used it to enter his name. Then the pictures and information came up.

Several years ago, I needed a part and NOBODY was helping me get it. Steve stepped up and helped me, and at a very fair price. I did several more transactions with Steve, he even served as middle-man on some deals - a seller would send the watch to Steve, he would verify authenticity and I would then pay the seller, then I'd pay Steve to service the watch and send it to me.

Then, I sent my wife's daily-wear Date to him, via USPS. A week goes by, I contact him, and he claimed he never got it. I had to file a claim with USPS - took nearly a year, but I got reimbursed for the amount of insurance I paid for.

Not long after that, the other issues with Steve started to become visible...

FWIW, the watches he worked on for me have performed flawlessly!

A note to the moderators. I know its impossible to sanitize the site of this guy. But for rookies like myself when you go to the list of vintage dealers. He is all over the first few pages. I know he gets removed later but alot of people will see his name on the good list until they realize hes been removed 5 or 6 pages deep.

Sad to hear. However, considering what we know now of his having crossed over to the dark side, it is not surprising.
