Setting the record straight!

TRF personal details were at no time ever in question here.
Turns out, rarebear, was contacted using the TRF PM system by a returning banned member trying to filter his own fraudulent activity by gaining control of a grandfathered account.

This, although not surprising to those of us in the know, is disconcerting none the less.
We here have always pushed for the awareness of our membership.
NEVER, ever, let your guard down until you know for sure with whom you are dealing.

The OP (rarebear) correct course of action would have been to contact admin first.
Never should his integrity been in question this way, nor should the membership have run with accusations without a better understanding of the full details.

For future reference, always contact moderation (admin) first.

From here on out, lets keep things tighter without speculation, and contact the forum leaders when ever there is any doubt in the future..
