Edit, I need to have the Chocolate
Got mine brand new for 17.500 euros when the listed price is 23.400, it's really an incredible watch, if I can suggest try both, I also at first preferred the chocolate but seeing both together, I changed my mind in a sec, IMHO the ivory is way more classy, readable and the details pop out more, the chocolate is everything dark, of course great watch also, but try both… Appart from that my usual non AD dealer whom I got it from told me he sold a chocolate one to a client 3 months before and the guy wanted to sell it because of the very poor readability aspect, in other words the impossibility to read the time when there's not a lot of light.

Anyways go with your heart on this one, whatever dial it's an amazing watch, hope you can get one soon enough.

Well since the Hulk will be soon, yes there will only be 2 missing from the lineup, the only problem it's the 2 most expensive, the platinum ones

I am keeping my eyes out with our US friends, $21000 now from some trusted sellers, I travel there a few times a year and with the exchange rate at the moment its getting more tempting! I will take your advise though and try both. As bad as it sounds I spend most my day on my mobile so readability isnt a problem - I tend to look at my phone for the time

I just noticed that on the picture lineup of my favorite Rolexes there was one mistake, I didn't want to put the DSSD but the new SD, didn't even notice the mistake until now, so in fact there will be 3, not 2 missing from my Rolex Hall of Fame, the platinum ones and the new SD, not the DSSD, but I don't think I will buy it, too close looking with my sub LN...

Wow 34, that's great, it looks very nice. What's written underneath? …. Milano?

Congrats on a "real" vintage watch

Milano, yes. It's truly a special watch. I'm holding onto it for a while. I'm not sure if I'll keep it... I'm considering this, or something just a little bit newer.

No way, keep it, a Rolex from 1934… Don't sell it, first I don't think you would get a very big price for it, and second how did you get it? Did you buy it or did it belong to a relative of yours? I also have a vintage yellow gold chrono from Omega, belonged to my father. Anyways whatever the way you got it, I would definitely keep it if I were you, but if you really want to sell it, ask for an appraisal, and contact me in private message, if the price isn't too big I just might want to buy it, but still follow my advice, keep it, I guess there are incredibly few people in the world who have your watch, that counts… :smoking:

Much cooler to have such a watch than a submariner for example, though I wouldn't trade my sub for your's, anyway can't trade or sell it, present from my wife...

Oh, it goes for a pretty hefty price:) I should know, I just paid for it yesterday... The guys buddy who sold it. I may give it back for something about 35 years newer. Thanks for the compliments. It is something in person...

You're kidding you got it yesterday? Congrats then
That's great, ok so you don't have the sentimental side to it belonging to a family member or something of the kind, but still I would definitely keep it, it looks great and how many people are you liable to meet who have it? I guess 0, while more recent models, well Rolex is the brand which makes the most watches each year, close to 1 million if I am correct…

I am not a super big fan of vintages, but this one isn't even vintage, it's historical I would say.

Too bad my vintage yellow gold Omega chrono is in the bank's safe, would have put a picture, but mine is newer, 1954, of course it was my dad's, so unsellable….

Nice watch, can't say that it's really my cup of tea, but it's nice, I had a Tag Heuer when I was 15 which had the same kind of bezel as the yacht master I has, with the numbers on the bezel outside rather than engraved inside, maybe that's why it's not my cup of tea because it reminds me of my youth, and since that was a long time ago, going on my 43, it reminds me of how old I am
