Thanks-highly recommend the Odyssey livaboard. 1 solid week of diving the whole fleet of huge wrecks in the lagoon. Sleep, dive, eat, dive, eat, dive, drink, sleep, repeat. The guides are phenomenal but they have no problem with solo diving and actually enchorage deco the whole week in prep for the final deeper SFM dive.

200M depth is at the edge of what I'd consider acceptable. Most sites don't recommend less than 200M for jet-skiing either.
I'm not sure about your charts but hereis mine.

Rolex rated to 100 metres = 100 metres + safety margin.

Rolex rated to 300 metres = 300 metres + safety margin.

etc. etc.

You can fill in the rest of my chart yourself.

But that would be swimming more than diving, right?

Good to see another GUE enthusiast on the boards. I don't know how I missed this thread earlier, but I did somehow. I took Fundies from Doug Mudry a couple years ago. That was truly the best scuba class I have ever taken. I really need to further my class work with a doubles primer next.

I love diving with a Rolex. Nothing beats the reliability and longevity of one. It's like growing old with a best friend. You will be able to dive your entire career with the same dive instrument with proper care and maintenance. I dive EVERY dive with a 16600 Seadweller on a NATO.

A couple pics.....

If you dive salt water make sure you rinse and rinse an rinse some more. I had an old SS that rusted under the bezel because I did not do a good job of rinsing the watch after being in the ocean. My jeweler even told me to just soak it over night in a glass of water to help dissolve any salts. My TT sub has only been diving a few times. I just used my G shock most of the time.

Jason: awesome pics!
Doug Mudry was my fundies instructor as well, Extreme exposure trip and all my wife took it with me and she was a great sport in the winter weather with the always "warm" high springs water (sarcastic laugh) ! :)
The GUE family is a tight and small family!
Nice fins!

I would purchase the new sea dweller 4000. With 4000 ft of water resistance you never have to worry about a leak even if a gasket is damage plus with the extension it can fit over and wet or dry suit for diving

You simply cannot go wrong with a COMEX, may take awhile to source but it will be fine. If you are concerned about the depth chart not having enough margin LOL make sure you get the SD COMEX.
