Thanks for resurrecting this thread! Brings back great memories and still loving the watch! It's my most worn watch and I can say for certain now that I do not miss the date complication like I thought I might.

When you are ready, the Speedy Pro makes a great white/black dial rotation alternative. Once you learn a bit about the history of the Moon Watch, you might want one and it helps that it is about 25% of the price of a Daytona. I love the history of the Daytona and the Moon Watch's runs even deeper.

I have a lot of admiration for the moonwatch and came close to getting one, but after trying it on a few times, for some reason it just doesn't sing to me. i might still eventually get one because it is such an iconic watch, but there are other watches higher on my list right now.
