I guess there is no right or wrong opton. My heart says HULK for the dial, but the bezel makes me rethinking each and every time I'm looking at it. Absolutely LOVE the green sunburst dial and if there would be an option to have it with black bezel then no questions asked that would be the one. I think after initial "new watch time" passes I will want to go black due to the bezel. And I don't want to flip later slightly used HULK and pay difference for BNIB black since I want to buy only new.

So I guess BLACK SUBC is the winner so far as only ONE ROLEX option. Maybe later I will change my mind and will add HULK, who knows But I'm really determined to be ONE ROLEX GUY
Great choice. Love my SubC LN

SS Daytona (black dial). You won't be able to take your eyes off it.

you could buy a green subc dial and for a change get it fitted into your black subc. I think that there are some pics of one in the modified rolex thread..

Personally, if it's going to be one and only one Rolex, and if you must limit your choice to only the Hulk and the SubC, then it's the SubC, no contest. The LV is, to me, a better choice for a third watch.

If you are going to be a one Rolex guy for life, consider the Explorer. At 39mm it wears a tad bigger than its case size, is clean, discrete, versatile and durable. All in all, a fantastic piece.

Black Sub. I tried on the Hulk and, while it was nice, I realized that the green would get on my nerves after a while. Plus, I think that the Black Sub is more versatile when it comes to wardrobe. However, that's just me. Which one gets your heart racing?

However in real life it is not the same and looks more like a candy green (if there is such a color) under the bright lights. But the black ceramic bezel looks more like a dark gray (same under bright lights) which is ok with me. This is one of those colors that I'm personally not too excited about. (see second pic)

Spot on! I was in an exact same dilemma when I got mine. Love the HULK green dial to the fullest. But I just couldn't make it thru with the bezel. So I ended up with the black SubC. I still miss the HULK every time I see it in the wild, then I looked back at my black SubC's bezel, no regrets. It's the bezel on this that makes the difference.

Yeah, would be great to put green HULK dial on black SUBC-then problem solved. That would look amazing! But I wouldn't do that, especially to brand new watch. I am an originality freak :-)))))))
So more I think about green bezels actual color in real life (especially under bright light being candy green), more I think about getting black SUBC.

Ok friends. I thought I had secured my choice to get SubC and call it a one Rolex thing. And now I've started looking at DSSD more and more. Now I dont know if that would be a wise choice for one Rolex or not. And if yes, it is seriously hard choice now to chose in between black and a new blue!!!!!
Your opinions are welcome!!!!!!

I'm going to go against the grain a little and say keep the GMT and get the LVc. Forget the 1 watch theory and then enjoy the heck out of the 3 you're left with.

Oh, and if you do tire of the LVc, you can always flip it for a LN.

If you are interested in the black Sub, also take a look at the black GMT. Dresses up slightly better than the sub (PCL's) but still works perfectly for weekend t-shirt/jeans look as well. I find the 24 hr dial more pleasing to the eye and balanced as well.

Sound like you have caught "the bug" that so many of us have on this forum.

My 2 cents is start with the Black SUBC, there really isn't anything not to love about the watch. Then as you save and get prepared for your 2nd Rolex, you could debate over the HULK or Deep Sea. The black SubC is a fantastic piece, you can wear with anything, anytime, any where. The deep sea is a bit larger and has a bigger profile to wear with everything. And of course, the HULK is green. The dial does change shades, but not as versatile as the black SubC. A black sub is just classic.

Black sub. Hulk is cool but not as versatile as a black sub IMO, so important if you only consider one Rolex only.

Yeah thats another possibility. Keep my GMT-C a call it a day. Just wanted a little bit of a difference and have something new, but keep a classic look. Thats why was debating about SUBC or Hulk, but really liking this DSSD especially with new blue!!!!

Choices choices!!! Not easy since there are so many nice models choose from. But you really can't go wrong with a SubC. If you start there, you SHOULD be satisfied if you do decide to add another someday. I have 2 and mostly wear my Sub everyday and it keeps me happy!!

Ok friends. Changing my mind back to SubC. It will be almost the same as my truly loved GMT-C but I love all matte look on bracelet possibly because got used to GMT-C bracelet polished links. I guess if I had subC then I would be getting GMT. And no I dont like scratched look as many members here, I love it mint and new!!!
Still liking DSSD but maybe little too big as daily wearer. But the presence of the watch is really nice!

I have both and as much as I love the Hulk, if you are only having one it has to be black

The hulk is beautiful but it doesn't always look right with everything (IMHO of course)

The concept of having one Rolex is fine. But judging by your posts, the Hulk has your attention.
Get the Hulk. And while I occasionally agree with the one-Rolex idea, I do not subscribe to the forever idea. If you tire of the Hulk, you don't have to add. You can just replace.
This is good advice.
