There are a LOT more people out here with subs than the new Explorer 2. You are naturally going to get more votes for the sub. Being someone who owns both and has contemplated letting one go as well, I can say that is one tough call!
The sub-c is definitely the better all around piece that wears so well will the Glidelock. On the other hand, it's almost so perfect that it can be boring. As someone who owns an Explorer 2, I can attest to its fun factor. There is nothing else out there like it and you are much less likely to see one on someone else's wrist. The matte dial with orange accents is a thing of beauty. The dial just pops and is so mesmerizing. I find myself wearing it a lot more than the sub c. I like how the brushed bezel flies under the radar and blends with any attire. It's the coolest dial/hand combo I've ever laid eyes on. They are both great for different reasons. In the end, I couldn't let either go. I love them both way too much. IMO, I don't think you made the wrong call. If you find yourself missing the sub that much, just find a way to get her back down the road. Don't part with the explorer either, because that you will regret:) [/URL] |
