It's trips like this that explains why I bought my Submariner. I would not want to go on a holiday without my significant other

I say wear it, but don't take it off

Made it back to port. Waiting to get off the ship. Great time. Took most of my pictures with my camera, not phone but here's one on approach to the island.

The GMT never left my wrist. Came in handy again and again with the lack of cell coverage. Even got to experience how great this watch is for traveling since we changed time zones. The feature that allows you to change the hour hand independently is really useful. First time I have traveled across time zones with it. Kept the GMT hand on home time which is another feature I really appreciated.

No problems wearing it in Bermuda. I checked out the AD in Hamilton. They had a platinum Daytona there. Wow, that is a stunner! 71K and I could have brought it home with me - maybe next time :) They also had the new Deep Sea but we're not displaying it yet. Nice store overall with a good inventory. Check it out if you go to Bermuda.

We had our honeymoon in Bermuda. A good time was had by all. I was wearing a 1601 TT DJ. This was in the mid-80's.

Well you certainly dodged a bullet there... not only was Bermuda safe but looks like there was a lot of water too... watch didn't get too wet?

What's your opinion on taking Rolexes on cruises in general?

And I've never been to Bermuda before - what are your thoughts on wearing it while checking out the island.

I'm torn between taking the watch I love, my 2004 GMT-Master "Coke", or just taking one of my gargbage watches so I don't have to worry about it.
Why wouldn't you take it?
