I think the BLNR is best suited for an only watch.
Then work towards getting the Sub too as they make a great versatile pair. |

Both special and had both. Blnr remains. For daily, blnr more versatile, that's not debatable

Sorry Hulk fans I went and picked up the BLNR Yesterday, I rung them up and expressed my concern over the cyclops and they said they had another. Got them to check whilst on the phone and it's much better! I'll post some pictures of it later! So happy with it!

Congrats on your BLNR! It is a better Rolex to start off with. Obviously much more versatile. Hulk is something you add later on.

Congrats !!! As I said before, BLNR would be and in fact was my first choice. Hopefully, you'll end up getting the Hulk as well to join the BLNR !

Green subs are flooding the market! I would go with he BLNR! Besides, if it matters to you, the demand for green submariners also created a great amount of fakes to be sold whereas the BLNR is as rare as it gets, I doubt a ''Folex'' BLNR will be fabricated easily

I've been considering a blnr but after a second look is it really worth the premium over a gmt nr?
On the trf pre owned market the difference is as much as $2k Wouldn't it be wiser to save the up charge on the cosmetic bezel and perhaps pick up a black blue bezel in a year or two for a switch? Or even wait for a ceramic coke bezel? I just don't see the difference in the 2 watches other than the blue color Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hulk! Sub is a great daily beater. BLNR you will see a lot of scratches due to the PCL on the bracelet. Get the SUB-C Hulk and save the extra $1000!

Thanks but I went and got the BLNR, not sure what you mean about price?! In the UK the RRP for the hulk is £6050 and the BLNR is £5950.

There are not many Rolex's I would own since I'm more of a PP person, but I would choose the Sub. First, I prefer the simple bezel and dial to that of the cluttered GMT. Second, the Sub is iconic and will hold its value better if that's important. Finally, the polished parts, while nice, will take a beating and at the end of the day, no matter how careful you are, you will wonder how those scratches got there. And of course the glidelock, very nice to have and easier to micro adjust in 2mm vs 5mm increments.

I do love my Hulk, but every now and again I get an urge to trade it in for a BLNR.
Haven't really done my research to see if they're roughly the same price on the used market mind you. |

Cant go wrong with either watch.....
BUT..if I could only have one, and it would be my only watch, then id pick the Sub mainly because of the adjustable bracelet. The bracelet makes so much of a difference when it comes to comfort. I have NO idea why Rolex doesn't just put the adjustable bracelet on all their sport watches. Makes zero sense. |

I am in the exact same boat. LOVE my Hulk, but am traveling more so I can see value in the GMT. I already have an Exp(39mm) and 116613LB. I am having a hard time deciding wether or not to trade one of those, but I can't let anything go.
