As a 27yr old who can afford a new YG Rolex you are obviously doing well, but the advice from the forum would be to bargain hard, you should be able to get more than a bit of a discount. I have never bought a new PM Rolex but we have certainly had post in the range of 15-25% discount. Have also seen posts suggesting UK AD's are notoriously stingy on discounts, so maybe best advised jumping to Netherlands and going tax back. I know even with a 10% discount (and you could probably get more you would be paying with tax back at the airport), about 18000 pounds in Australia, and could probably do better than that. Not to mention get a holiday in the process.

Sorry couldn't reply sooner. I see a lot of people here have mentioned "PM Rolex", what does PM stand for?
I think I am more confused than before I started? The question I have is, which one would hold more value if required to be sold in the future? |

Buying a PM watch new is not the answer if you are looking to hold value. That said either would be about equal I think.Maybe the sub would give you more flexibility of selling in the future.

You can buy new but best not from an AD if you want 20-30% off, best to buy from a trusted reseller on trustpilot.

The black ceramic bezel looks killer with yellow gold. In this case, sub is a clear winner for me.
