As opposed to replacing the whole ceramic bezel? $120, I'll take it.

Sure aluminum inserts are cheaper, but such is life. You want the new upgrades, you have to pay.

How much are the aluminum inserts OEM going for these days? I have an older sub that needs one.

I would expect the pearl is pinned to the bezel.

The remains of the broken pin would be removed and a new insert pressed in?

To be fair the OP's thread states "The pearl fell off my hulk".

Smacking it on a door does put a different slant in the issue.

Happy that you got it sorted and the price was not so bad.

That stinks. Another reason I love my Pelagos. No pearl to knock off!

Fell off = sliced off from the corner of the door... LOL

I believe they removed the bezel, removed the remaining pin / stem from the old pearl and pressed a new one on.

Have to replace the whole stainless steel bezel or just the ceramic insert with the pearl..? If not wrong it's two portions, one is the bezel itself. The other is the pearl attached to the ceramic insert.
