So excited I found this just in time. I live in Westwood and would love to come. Just moved here 5 weeks ago from Washington, DC.

That's great, Mathias. You can fill us in on the watch scene in D.C.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Off-Topic: Every time that I think of it, I like to mention the F.P. Journe boutique on The Sunset Strip (http://www.fpjourne.com/eu/boutiques...osangeles.html). It is opposite the big Westime store (http://westime.com).

F.P. Journe is not my thing, but I admire what they are up to, and I think that it is really cool that we have one of their boutiques right on The Strip.

It looks like we may have a record turnout, so I am going to suggest that we all try to get there at 11:30 a.m. when the doors open, so that we can get the tables that we want and achieve total Honor Bar domination.

Hi guys,
Its my first post here and its a bit late but I've been reading for a while and even made my first Tudor purchase this week from a trusted seller. I would love to attend tomorrow (David Woo let me know about this).
Anyone else going from Pasadena who can give me a ride?

I'll second Wesley's note... Thank you Mark.

Great time meeting and hanging with you all. Lots of great conversations and watches. The raffled gifts were also a very nice touch (big thank you to those that were able to share them with the group).

Hope everyone made it home safe and sound. Enjoy the rest of your weekends!

Yesterday's heatwave-be-damned fęte was the best GTG we've ever had. A really great time.

Here are some highlights:

--About 20 people attended. (Which means that we easily beat that weaka** GTG in Costa Mesa that Rodrizguez Rolley mentioned. )

--The lunch at Honor Bar went without a hitch. Good service and good chow.

--David Woo and Jonathan brought watches to show. (David, don't you think that 5513 would make a nice gift for my birthday? )

--Frosty and Wes held up the vintage GMT end of things. (Better than Hublot, Wes. Better than Hublot. )

--Scott's massive Deepsea had a unique aftermarket strap. (Scott, it's a shame you have to wear such a tiny watch. Maybe Flavor Flav has something he could loan you. )

--Rodriguez Rolley, in from Rancho Cucamonga (how cool is that?), had a lovely DateJust.

--We were quite a mob as we began the walk-and-talk to the boutiques, but everyone found their way. Ben at Geary's treated us very well. (Thanks for setting that up, David W. )

--A shoutout to Kevin, whose gold Patek made us all look like poor relatives from The Bronx. (We are never inviting you again, Kevin. I hope you understand. )

--Anybody who made it to Vacheron and got a WatchTime Special Issue from Faye Zhang: If this is a tenth as good as the Special Issue they did for the Reverso, it will be one of the coolest freebies of the day. I know I'm looking forward to reading mine.

In closing, I want to thank everyone for attending. You are lovely people, and it was great to meet you all. In addition, I especially want to thank those who so graciously donated items for the raffle. There were so many donations that every single person went home with a prize. My faith in humanity has been restored.

Take care, everyone, and keep in touch.

Wes, great to meet you. We never made it to Richard Mille. Let's go sometime, and we could hit the happy hour at The Grill afterward.

Great to meet you, James. Let's do something some time. Maybe Frosty will take us to the pistol range, and we could kill pieces of paper for an hour or two. (You listening, Frosty? )

great job by Mark with the organizing and the raffle, well done.
At our table, I nominate Kevin and Nick for the best pieces at the table, so nice.
Such a treat to meet others so afflicted.

Thanks, Mark, it was a great time! It was nice having the area to ourselves and meeting a bunch of great people. It was the first raffle I have ever been in where everybody went home with something cool.

I have been looking for some cool end links so I could use a strap and I got some from Mastermixer. I also want to thank Manhatten Beach Watch repair for the NATO Band.

Somehow, when we left the Panerai shop I must of zigged when you zagged. I looked around for a few minutes and the heat told me not to walk around aimlessly.
