Haha... Add to that gorgeous 5205 with another Patek and catch the Patek bug (like what seems to have bitten me! Rolf....).

Congrats brother!!

CONGRATS and enjoy that beauty!

Thanks Paul. I was actually given a free XS strap. I tried it on but still got a problem with the fitting. Because one hold inner is too tight and one hole looser is too loose. Another problem is that there is barely any tail at all after putting it on.

In the end I stick with the std strap though it is a bit loose. The boutique manager recommend that I send the watch to APSC to punch another additional inner hole to get the perfect fit.

Haha.. Who push me over the edge? The person asking me this question

Actually this piece was in my mind for a long time but I couldn't to find one at the appropriate price and also I had other priority pieces to get. The latest I-series has a slighter more bearable ( for me ) weight and also the new line-brush finishing on the bezel is spectacular. Hence pull the trigger.

I am still trying to get use to the weight to be honest.

That's a great idea. Also I have found keeping the 'non-hole' side of regular strap and mixing it with XS strap hole side works well, as I had the same issue as you.

It's a stunner...congrats

One solution is to take one part of the short strap and the other from the regular one, I did this on one of my watches before and it was great, the short one was the part with the buckle and the long was without…

Oh just saw that Paul was giving the same advice as me, you should try and see how it goes before making any additional hole, might be the perfect fit

As was said would be great to see a pic of your 5 AP's together, you have awesome models
Thanks Arnaud. To be honest, yes, it is a heavy piece and I hope to get use to it soon. Getting the right fit will be the key as everyone's wrist is different. If it fits loosely and wobble, the weight will be felt as the watch moves. Similarly, too tight a fit will cause pressure on the wrist leading to discomfort. It's a tricky watch to fit properly and get it just right. I tried the short strap but it didn't work out for me ( see my reply to Paul ).

Physically and visually, the Novelty RG44 is a stunning piece. No wonder it got so many fans here.

Usual 2 years standard plus additional year after water-proof testing.

Thanks. Heading back in a month and will be stopping in. It was the same a few years ago when i bought the ceramic diver. Wonder why Japan is among the few outliers on this.

Very nice!! So far that is my favorite AP that is obtainable for me to get. Not going to be my next one because of price, but baby steps, baby steps... Down the road, that is the AP I really want the most.

For those asking for a group photo of all my 5 APs, unfortunately I don't have all of them in one single location for now. So here's a mosaic of my AP watches. Hope you like it.

Hard to say. Love all of them. But if press to choose probably the Jumbo for its excellent combination of iconic status, streamline looks and supreme comfort.
