Get the AP Diver, especially if you've never owned an AP. This is your chance to experience it for yourself rather than listening to us. If you end up loving it, it's a win; if you hate it, flip it with minimal loss especially if you get it from a trusted seller here.

I had the LV, and didn't love it, as well not a big fan of your 2 other pieces, if you can handle the weight theWG Rolex sub is awesome, if not then AP diver though the FC and CE blow away the SS in my book, the ceramic is definitely worth adding the extra cash, it's awesome...

I have one AP and likely getting a second. Funny is the YM II was the other piece I was considering up until recent. I like it but came in second for me :)

Is selling the 116610LV and putting the extra to it for the ROO, an option?
Retaining the 80 and adding 15710 is an example of having your cake and eating it. Whilst the Tudor is no Hulk, it’d do the job of daily beater/carefree duty, letting you enjoy the AP and YM on occasions where you’re less likely to mark them. As a bit of a tempter…https://www.chrono24.com/audemarspig...-id4075234.htm |

In this case, i'm going AP. It's just on a different level. AP is like dating the hottest/wildest girl in school whereas the Rolex is like the girl you eventually marry. Judging by your collection, you already have 2 good ol' reliable 'wives,' now its time to reacquaint yourself with the wild side! |

YM! I had the AP Diver, lasted 2-3 months. Beautiful watch, but truly a scratch magnet. I wear my PM GMT with less worry. Hated having to be so cautious with the watch, but I admit to being a bit anal about scratches on watches. Also, the lack of practical functionality with inner ring bothered me...and I don't dive! Then again, who uses the YM's countdown?

ROO vs YMII
Hey all,
First off just want to thank you all for your contributions to this thread! I apologize for lack of participation. Normally I'm very active especially in my own threads, but lately "the real world" has been bleeding into my hobby time too much. So next question: The YMII vs AP Diver topic seems to be filled with rich arguments on both sides. It kind of seems to be split down the middle. I'm tempted to start a new thread, but for now let's see what kind of response this gets. Many have said... 'Royal Oak Offshore vs. Yacht-Master II? That's a different story!', and of course that got me thinking. So now I propose the question for you all... How about it? Royal Oak Offshore vs. Yacht-Master II I have my eye on the Gray Themes Chronograph. ![]() |

Quit torturing yourself, get the Diver and be done with it – dilemma sorted and you can just get on with enjoying the new acquisition.

if youre considering putting up the ym on the chopping block, its probably not for you. flip it and try the diver, see where that takes you.

How about the new diver chrono in blue it's the conservative version of all the colors they released 😉

I prefer the chrono but I would go for the black / red. Looks amazing on the bracelet. Look for Sam's pictures on the which AP are you wearing today thread.

Interesting idea, thanks! It's crossed my mind because, as you can tell I will have a really tough time parting with the YM2. but despite the Hulk and 15710 both being "divers", to me there's no replacing a Submariner. It's by far my favorite and best all around watch, IMO. |

Perhaps, but then you could argue that that makes the Tudor redundant.
Alternatively, as I said, the Tudor would do rightly for Hulk duties, albeit not so colourfully, which then allows you to enjoy the AP, as well as the YM II. In my mind, that’s a complete win-win scenario, and the most obvious answer to the dilemma. |

It is a good idea especially while looking at all watches involved as a collection. Only aspect that really kind of ruins things is that the trade value of my YMII will be significantly higher than my LVC. But if I abandon the idea of the ROO and go back to the diver, it becomes slightly more attainable. |

I would buy a PM watch and skip the whole trade from one SS watch to another. Honestly i dont think i could ever buy another SS watch again. Im ruined for life. I keep one SS watch for casual work and hopefully the rest of my collection will soon be all PM model watches.
