"Hate" is such a strong word

"Dislike" would be far more gentlemanly.

Let me add to this: Love the GMT, very useful for travel and dealing with customers in other time zones. And get a BLRO while you're at it...

You have your own weakness to blame....just like I blame my own weakness.....seriously though......more so than the enablers....the trusted sellers with the ease of getting the watch to you the next day with their pricing really is too difficult to ignore......that said.....welcome......I feel bad for you already.....how come it feels like I'm talking to myself? lol.

There are too many more important things to do with my time and money. Well, Having been a Rolex owner and forum member for less than two months, I just found a stainless Daytona which I’m to pick up Friday.
Having nailed that watch down, I’ve just spent most of this morning researching GMT’s.
I know it’s not fair to blame you guyS, but I HATE YOU PEOPLE!
Don't worry, the feeling and your bank account will soon pass...

I like them now.
I've owned many watches, but never felt any attachment to them.
The Rolex feels different. Something about this heavy little machine on my wrist with all those parts spinning, twisting and oscillating. It such good company, I don't want to take it off. I am not a graceful man and I worry about damaging it so I need a steel watch that I can wear and not have to be too gentle with.
Tell me, do all the high end watches have this happy mechanical feel?
If they do, I may be in big trouble.
By the way, no hate here, you guys are alright!

This hobby is no different than a drug addiction. Welcome to our world! Just enjoy it. Retirement nest eggs are overrated anyway. The average life span is longer now and we can work longer to make it up..

Venturing into the Rolex world now (overwhelming!!) after taking a dip in with Panerais...
