The free market way--all it takes is one willing buyer and one willing seller. Whether David gets his price or not, I don't have a problem however he decided to set his price. (Though I won't be buying).

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so it's all fine and nothing to be scared of.

He can set whatever price he wants for it. I even hope someone buys it full price. They're going to be the fools not him.

It's crazy how much over msrp it is but I agree supply and demand. That's like getting mad at the price of a vintage Rolex, how much are people willing to pay over original msrp

I wouldn't pay that but if someone is willing to pay it then that's up to then. Also if you're in business and you can get that price then why not sell it for that.

David SW is not thinking 'I can get 21k but I'll sell it for 16k'.

No point in buying SS at that price point. Might as well go PM.

The fact that he didn't post it on TRF should say something.

Supply and Demand. Right now , high demand and no supply

So that ceramic bezel cost around 8k$ over the non upgraded SS Daytona

I don't blame David a bit... ESPECIALLY since he is giving me this one at a 25% discount... Off of MSRP

Now don't deny it David, either that or those pictures of you in a dress go up on the Internet!

Davidsw is an awesome business. I have bought numerous watches from him and every time is perfect at amazing prices. It is not charity, it is market forces simple as that. Rolex themselves know this. If it's too high don't buy it.

Ceramic Daytona now hitting the Grey Market

Good for David! Someone who really wants one right now can buy it and that is a good thing for both parties.

Good news for many is that the white dial wears big for a Daytona, felt like a true 40mm. Me and the salesman couldn't believe we were talking about a "big" Daytona, esp as AP is his fav brand. I took a lot of pics, will put them up later.
That's fantastic Neil, I'd love to see your pictures
Appreciate your thoughts as well on the white vs. The black face and how the two wear

If it were me I would do what the AD's are doing. I would sell it to my best client for a "fair" markup. And win back the extra in more business and referrals.
